Coniston Hall Hotel, North Yorkshire
The Coniston Hall Hotel have been Clients of ours now for many years and we have continually worked closely with the Bannister family. AJH Associates act as the CDM Co-ordinators for the works, and brought the hotels requests to reality. We have been involved with the extension to the Reception, Bar, Restaurant and Lounge area with the addition of a new Huntsman’s Lodge to the rear of the Hotel. AJH Associates also managed the erection of the new Shooting Lodge and has plans for a state of the art Spa.
The Cottage, Newton
From design to completion AJH Associates has developed this extension. Our Client had a vivid design proposal, which we worked with and together developed to achieve the final design concept. AJH Associates took this concept through planning and building regulations to allow the Client to construct the extension. AJH Associates have worked on a number of domestic schemes; always working closely with the Clients in order to achieve designs that all parties are satisfied with. Negotiating with planning officers and building control to develop the drawings to satisfy regulations.
Slaidburn Village Hall
In 2006, Slaidburn Village Hall Trust received funding to create a Village Hall that would be beneficial to the community and provide a space that would allow people of Slaidburn and the surrounding villages to utilise the Hall to its full potential.
AJH Associates were appointed as Planning Supervisors and Advisors to the Trust. These roles involved us in the project from inception, through construction and to completion. AJH Associates worked closely with the architect Austin Smith Lord and Slaidburn Trustees. On completion the village hall was nominated for and award from the RICS for Community Benefit, the Village Hall revieved "Highly Commended" in this class. AJH Associates are still very much involved in the running of the Village Hall as maintenance/general “fix-it” advisors.
Domestic Extension, Chatburn
AJH Assocaites were approached by the owner occupiers of this property who required an extension to inlcude a garage and en-suite master bedroom, whilst maintaining external parking area and creating secure bin storage. AJH Associates worked closely with the clients to create a design that was acheiveable, offered all the requirements and could be delivered on budget. Once a concept was approved by the client and the planning authority AJH Associates prepared the tender documents for the works.
